 Did you know that you get an official stress diagnosis? It is based upon a term called Allostatic load.

Allostatic load is the measurement of how stress affects each of us. Allostatic load can tell us what our health situation is today, but can also predict what our health might be like in 3 to 5 years. The higher our allostatic load, the more damage stress is doing to us.

Researchers created the Allostatic Load Index (ALI) to measure stress and health-related outcomes in the workforce. The index is based upon 10 physiological or physical measurements:

-Waist-to-hip ratio (WHR)
