All are in the ragweed plant family: Chamomile, Milk Thistle (Silymarin extract is okay), Wormwood, Goldenseal, and Echinacea.

Cranberry's Secret to Fighting Bladder Cancer
Bonnie and Steve: A study done in the September issue of Food and Function found that several phytochemicals found in cranberries, some of which you may recognize, help to inhibit rogue bladder cancer cell growth.

This shows yet again why the cranberry is so helpful for bladder health.

Anti-proliferative activities of cranberry derived from flavonoids quercetin 3-O-glucoside, isrhamnetin (3'-O-methylquercetin), myricetin, and quercetin showed strong concentration-dependent cell growth inhibitory activities in bladder cancer cells.

Hence, these active forms of the flavonoid quercetin in prevention of bladder cancer should be emphasized.

The importance of metabolism for the prevention of bladder cancer by diets rich in cranberries should continually be mentioned in public health forums.
